I'm your host, Andrew DeCechko from Inside the Birds.com, and with me today,

Michigan linebacker Michael Barrett. Michael, how are things? It's going pretty good, man. Can't

complain. Can't complain. Draft can't get here soon enough. Just as I'm sure it's going through

your mind, but it's been an eventful cycle.

How about that?

Yeah, most definitely, man.

I'm glad it's, you know, coming to an end, you know, with the crazy process, everything

that's been going on, you know, a week out feel great.

Glad that it's finally coming to it in, to be honest.

So what have the past few weeks been like for you?

It's been kind of slower since like Pro Day and Combine is over with.

But yeah, like just been kind of training, trying to stay,

keep my body kind of ready, football shape, kind of going from transitioning from doing track practice or training to just going back and getting into football shape.

So recently I just been doing interviews with a couple of coaches and just been kind of training.

So you went from the national championship through the whole pre-draft process,

Pro Day and all that.

Have you ever felt like you haven't had a chance to really reflect on the journey?

Not really, honestly.

I feel like this has been my week that I've had,

or my couple weeks, two, three weeks that I've had to kind of slow myself down and kind of get myself a break of, you know, because the process isn't going to stop here. It's just only getting started to be honest. So, you know, just kind of taking this time these last couple of weeks to, you know, just settle everything down, kind of reflect on everything that's happening, kind of reflect on what's going forward,

and just kind of get my mind right for, you know, the rest of my career.
