The ringer.com and Craig and I are going to tear them to shreds. But first, a couple pieces of news. What? First of all, the Steelers have, I can't, I just saw this post from Adam Schaefter and I'm just going to read it verbatim. I don't, I, I, I, I'd never heard of this.

Shefter posted this morning, sources, the Steelers placed the rare right of first refusal

tender on Aaron Rogers, meaning that he can accept a 10% raise off last year's salary,

which would pay him about $15 million this season.

As another condition of the tender, Rogers would only be able to sign with the Steelers once training camp begins, end quote. I didn't know what this was. I've never heard of this before. And so they're basically just saying you can get a 10% raise if you sign with the Steelers, and that's it. I had never heard of this. Apparently, they can do this with any free agent that doesn't sign after the draft. I've never heard of this. Oh, you have to wait until after the draft to do it. Apparently. I think this is bizarre. I guess what it means in practice is basically they're going to be like Aaron, you can have a 15% raise or you can retire or you can go and play for someone else and if you sign a

contract elsewhere, we'll match it. It's kind of weird to do this. The key element is it gets him

in the building. Is that it? In theory. Right. Well, is it a 10 or 15%? I thought his tweet says 10.

Oh, yeah. Sorry, it's 15 million, but I wrote down 50% raise. It's 10% raise, which is about $15 million. Yeah, Craig. So is this, obviously, it's not embarrassing that Earned Rogers is still not with the team. Was this more? You know what? Lay off, all right? Fuck. Everything's embarrassing.
