Hey there folks, Norm here. This week is part of our ongoing weekly relaunch

pre-launch. We bring you a compilation of segments we've always done here on the

Drabble cast the Drabble

news. See back in the early days when we started we didn't limit the idea of

strange stories to just fiction because as the saying goes sometimes the truth is even stranger.

So we often included a feature called Drabble News,

where fans would write in or post in our forums

some really strange news story that come across or heard about that the

Drabblecast would then pick up on and investigate. These investigations

often took us down some pretty bizarre and unexpected rabbit holes.

In other words, half the time I'd find myself rubbing my head, shaking off some weird fog

mid-production on these news stories, only to find myself mostly done writing a musical about embryonic stem cells or hardcore

rapping about some new species of dinosaur.

So since these norm fugue state induced real life weird news stories have been happening the past 10 years,

peppering various episodes in an unpredictable fashion.

I figured we'd compile some of these ones that you listeners said in our forums and on social media that you thought

were the best. Hope you enjoy.
