Happy New Year's, folks. What does 2023 have in store for us, I wonder?

Well, one thing I know is a lovely trifecta flash fiction showcase.

Three different stories, three different authors, three different narrators, one common theme.

Our theme for this trifecta, love hurts. We like to run these stories uninterrupted back to back,

so go ahead and tell you the authors and get those out of the way here before we start.

First up, we have a story called Taylor Swift by Hugh B. Steinemann. He was a poet and short fiction

writer. He teaches courses in creative writing

and literature with a growing emphasis on science fiction, fantasy, horror, the weird, the strange,

the experimental, and the unclassifiable. The story is read to you by the talented and lovely

Avery Alexander. Next, we bring you the evolution of a breakup by Edgar Carrot, read by Adam Prott.

Edgar's an Israeli writer known for his short fiction, graphic novels, and scriptwriting for film

and television.

And lastly, we bring you a drabblecast original story by author Adrian Ryan called May I Come

In.
