Stephen Baxter's an acclaimed multiple award-winning author whose many books include

Zeeley sequence, The Time Odyssey trilogy, written with Arthur C. Clark, and The Timeship, a sequel to H.G. Wells's classic, The Time Machine.

His books have won several awards, including the Philip K Dick, the John W. Campbell, and the British Science Fiction Award,

and have been nominated for several others

including the Arthur C. Clark, the Hugo, and the Locust Awards.

He's published over 100 SF short stories, many of which have gone on to win prizes, and the Gravity Mine was shortlisted for the Hugo

Award in 2001.
