Hey, everybody, it's Chris, and today I am interviewing Dr. Stephen Eisenberg.

Dr. Stephen attended med school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his

medical oncology and hematology fellowship at Georgetown University Medical Center.

He's triple board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and

hematology, and he sees patients in private practice at C-Care in San Diego. Dr. Stephen is also

known as the singing oncologist. We'll get to that. He's the host of the Dr. Stephen Show.

He's a married father of three.

And he's the author of a new book called Love is the Strongest Medicine, Notes from a Cancer

Doctor on Connection, Creativity, and Compassion, published by Hayhouse.

So Dr. Stephen, it's good to see you, man. It's great to see you, Chris.

Thanks so much for having me. You're awesome. You've been an inspiration forever. Ever since I met you at

JJ's years ago, I said, this guy is what it's all about. You're what it's all about,

man. Well, that's, you're, you're, you are,

you and your message are why I became an oncologist in the first place, what you represent,

who you are in the world. I'd love to talk about that. But before we do, I have to tell the story of how we met because we were both at this

health and wellness conference and with, I don't know, three, four hundred people or whatever.

And one night, close to midnight, I was walking back to my room down a hallway next to it.

And it was just me and this other guy walking down the hallway.

And one of us happened just be like, hey, you know, you know, who are you?

What do you do?

You know, we just kind of started chatting and, you know, you're like, I'm an oncologist.

I'm like, I'm a cancer survivor.
