So explain a little bit about the idea behind the book of the science of food as medicine.

So the book and the last book I wrote as well, The Doctor's Kitchen, is all about how simple changes to what we eat and how we live can amplify

our defences are ever giving ill in the first place and reducing the risk because preventing

illness is much better than a cure in the first place and and i came across this myself first uh

through first hand by overcoming my own medical

condition. I had a cardiac problem called atrial fibrillation, which is where your heart beats

exceptionally fast and irregularly. And when I looked at what I was eating and my lifestyle, I was

able to overcome it over a year period.

And that really opened my eyes to the science of nutritional medicine and lifestyle as a force for improving the lives of so many different people.

And since then I've started introducing it into my clinical practice.

And now I've done two cookbooks, and I'm super excited to have it to be illness in the

United States. It's been fascinating so far to see people's reactions to it.
