Hello, again, my friends. Hello. It is I, Alejandro. And it is wonderful to be here with you all again on another lovely summer Monday evening. Fabuloso. I have a great guest today, some of whom of you may get a bit frustrated. I like to say frustrated with an English accent because I like the way the

English say frustrated. I'm a little frustrated with the parking at the Olympics. The cab drivers have been saying,

it's a little frustrating being able to drive around town. They don't let those cabbies drive in the special lane.

You've probably heard all about that. So I like to say frustrated. The reason why would you be frustrated with our guest today is because he is a scientist that is a little bit skeptical about the topics that we speak about. However, don't turn the radio off yet or turn off your podcast because there's some really interesting stuff here. He's a great guy. He is going to be talking

with us about some of the stuff he's written about, which is the science of extraterrestrial life.

But also more than that, we're going to be talking about the Higgs boson because some of you

have heard of this. They refer to it as the god

particle and you're probably thinking well what the heck is this thing well uh mr dr robert

pichione who is our guest tonight specializes in being able to explain that to people he is a faculty

member at many different places at UCLA and Harvard University.

He actually got his bachelor's in physics from Caltech and he has his PhD in high energy physics from Stanford University.

So he's going to explain to us the Higgs Bosn. However, he's also written a book called Can Life Really Be an Accident?

And so how do we know what to look for when we're looking for life on other planets?
