Praveen Sethupathy, a legendary scientist and the chair of the Department of Biomedical

Sciences at Cornell University.

Dr. Sethupathy and I recently sat down to discuss how he is trying to lead winsomely when his

entire vocation is under attack due to political polarization. We talked about how the cross

can disabuse us of any sense of power at work. And we also talked about how he practically
