Today on Roon Soup, I am very pleased to be joined by nurse and NDE researcher Dr Penny Sartori.

Dr Sartori is the author of the best selling The Wisdom of Near Death Experiences and the recently released what is a near-death experience.

Well, thank you very much for your time, Dr. Satori.

And we have a traditional first question that we ask all our guests on this show, which is, Penny,

were you a weird kid?

My parents probably thought so, but I don't know, yeah, I suppose I was in some respects, but I think I was fairly quiet and quite normal in that I used to go out and play with my friends and things like that

But I always had an interest in things unusual from quite a young age I guess.

Such as?

Well, for example, when my parents used to kind of read me stories to go to bed,

I always used to ask my dad to tell me ghost stories. They used to really

interest me. So yeah, I guess things like that.

Well that's obviously very interesting given the sort of course your research life is taken.

Yes it is yeah perhaps it's you know underlying it all perhaps all those interests

have been there all all my life really.

Well, I mean you've told the story in a book and in a couple of other shows, including my friend Nick

Majorsen show about the patient that kind of started you on your NDE research journey.
