Just playing with some things over here. Today's podcast is with Dr. Matt Dawson, who's a new friend of mine. Very grateful for the time we've got to spend together and the fun that we've already had just the beginning since we both live in Kentucky. There's not many people in Kentucky that know and care much about functional medicine,

but Dr. Matt Dawson does. He is a medical doctor. He was working in the emergency room for a while.

We talk about that in this podcast, but now he's focused on his company called Wild Health,

where he's focusing on DNA and genetics and personalized medicine.

He is a co-owner of something called the Kentucky Castle, which we'll talk about as well,

which is literally like it sounds.

It's a castle.

It's a big building.

It looks like a castle, And they do farm to table

dinners there and they have a farm there. We'll talk about that soon as well. He's just an all-around

really cool guy. Let me talk about my company for a little bit. I don't do that much. And many people

have questions and I just answer those questions via email rather than talk about those here.

So my supplement company is called ORA Roots.

And since I'm a health care practitioner, I'm able to access insanely high-quality products that most people, I'm not going to name drop, but let's just say other people that have podcasts that sell supplements that are not

health care providers or health care practitioners, they're doing what's called contract

manufacturing. Contract manufacturing is where you hire a warehouse to make products and throw ingredients together

at your discretion and then bottle them up and put a label on it. What I do is different.

I'm working with companies that only work with health care providers, natural pass, functional

medicine, people, medical doctors, etc. People that are in the

health field. You have to have health care credentials to even get in the door with these professional

health care companies and then they make our products. And so that's who makes all of our products.
