I live on a lake in Massachusetts, it's really beautiful, but in the summertime it gets

a little crowded sometimes with people coming up for the weekend, or especially on holiday,

like Memorial Day or July 4th.

So there are revelers on the lake and the older I've gotten, the less patience I have

for those revelers because I just need my sleep.

And the other night I heard somebody just going, you know, it was like two in the morning.

I was going to like yell like an ordinary old man.

I was going to be like, shot up, people are trying to sleep.

You thought you'd see a guy doing a keg stand?

That's what it sounded like.

It sounded like the sea grape.

It sounded like college kids, like partying.

And there had been some on the lake, but it was so late, it was like two, three in the morning.

And I went to the screen door and just tried to get a beat on where this person was, where

this maniac was.

And I heard another one like, yeah, from across the lake and I realized it was an owl,

two owls talking to each other.

So loud.

And the other one was like, they weren't talking.

They weren't talking.
