1:18.6 | So I want to start with the topic of paradigm. This is something that I have become enormously |
1:27.4 | fascinated with because there are just so many fundamental differences in how different health care professionals conceptualize what makes people ill and based on how they conceptualize how people get sick in the first place, |
1:48.4 | what logically comes out of that sort of paradigm as far as the ideal approach to fix it. |
1:56.7 | And, you know, if we want to get expansive here, you know, I've also gone through a PhD program |

2:02.7 | So even within that, we have everything from, you know, cognitive behavioral therapy to, you |
2:09.6 | know, something like Rogarian therapy where you're just miming mirroring back to the patient, |
2:15.3 | what they're saying to psychodynamic therapy and Jungian and |
2:20.1 | Freudian psychotherapy where you might spend years talking about a patient's early life. |
2:27.4 | And basically the way that you conceptualize the problem massively influences what you think the correct way is to get that person well. |
