0:28.8	truths, but when we go back and look at how the Bible has been interpreted and used against
0:33.3	certain peoples, it's amazing. And so I was really excited to find a chapter from Joseph Murphy's
0:40.4	book, Great Truths that Set Us Free, where he addresses what the Bible says about women and women's
0:47.5	bondage, in particular some of the stuff that Paul says about women. I've still heard this
0:54.0	used against women on a regular basis.
0:57.6	Scrolling through Twitter, I'll see someone making a comment how women are meant to keep silent.
1:03.6	This has been used against women so that they can't be elected in leadership and a variety of other
1:08.2	things. But it's simply not true. It's being misunderstood.
