I think the best way to begin is just by going to page three on this for a second.

Just get a sense, this is looking at politics for a second, but really I would have brought this out of culture.

So the first thing we see on page three, you've gone to the United Kingdom,

yeah, so this is the Brexit map. So what this is, you know, the referendum for Britain to leave European unions.

And if you look at the Brexit map, basically what you'll see there is that, sorry, this is intended to be seen in colour.

But anyway, the basic point to get here is this.

Geographically, most of Britain left voted to leave Europe geographically most of Britain left

if you do about constituency right think of kind of congressional district or

something of that sort of most of Britain vote most districts think about that most

constituencies voted to leave Britain but

there are a couple of places where there are dense concentration of voting to remain

within the Europeans after I say to be Britain I don't believe you're a couple of

areas in which there's then these are these darker areas and basically

London is the main one and a couple of the cities in Scotland and cities in Northern Ireland

and an interesting question why is that well basically to mean, this would be a not uncontested analysis,

but I'm just going to give it to you for reasons of time.

The reason that London voted to remain within the European Union

is that London increasingly doesn't see itself as part of Britain.

It sees itself a kind of cosmopolitan, metropolitan centre.

It sees itself as a world city. It's, metropolitan centre. It sees itself as a world city.

It's highly ethnically diverse.

It's very affluent.
