I am pumped up to talk to Trey Gowdy about not only his book, but last night's day two,

night two of the Democratic National Convention, where if that was football, everybody ran out

of challenge flags in the first quarter last night.

There were so many bogus claims.

And those are just to people like me with an entry-level understanding of what's going on in the world.

I can't imagine the rest of you feel, but we will get into it.

Texas Congressman Michael Burgess is in the House.

He, of course, well-versed on all things RNC, and will give us some insight into their

plans for next week's convention, see if they can, in fact, top this broadcast, which has

turned out to be Must Flea TV so far. We're also going to talk to real clear politics

co-founder and president Tom Bevin, who is a damn good friend of this show,

well-versed as well in all things 2020.

And somebody I love talking to, because again, back to my referee analogy, he very much is at Real Clear Politics,

the guy tasked with just calling the game as he sees it. He does a damn good job at it. And I'm interesting to see what he thinks about these first two nights. I mean, there were so many takeaways. I don't even know where to start. Andrew Cuomo, after that embarrassment Monday night, where he was, you know, almost tore his rotator cuff, patting himself on the back for his handling of the coronavirus. Have you no shame?
