dr jennifer how are you good thank you for having me i appreciate it it's our pleasure it's our

pleasure so would you like us to call you Dr. Jennifer or is Jennifer okay?

Jennifer is great. Fantastic. So Jennifer, share with us a little bit about your background

and expertise as a dementia expert and as the co-founder and creator at the Dementia Connection Institute.

Absolutely.

So my journey is a little bit different than most people who get into dementia care.

Most people get into dementia care, you know, whether it be a caregiver or healthcare

professional because they have known somebody who has had some form of dementia.

And actually, for me, it was the reverse.

I came, I went into the field and then after that,

unfortunately, my grandmother-in-law had developed Alzheimer's disease and passed away with it. So

for me, you know, I was able to be a great asset to the family, which, you know, is an unbelievable

experience to be, to be able to be in that space. So for me, I'm a clinical psychologist by trade.

And so my first half of my career,
