Hello there and welcome to this month's big interview from the Irishman abroad.

Today I'm joined by Dr. Jennifer Cassidy.

Jennifer is an Irish author, diplomatic consultant and international development specialist.

Among many other things, she has served as a political attaché to Ireland's permanent mission to the United Nations,

the European External Action Service, the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Ireland's Department of Foreign

Affairs and Trade during its 2013 presidency of the Council of the European Union.

But you may know her from her ridiculously on point output on Twitter

or from the contributions she's made to discussions on all manner of huge TV and radio shows over the last few years.

Today we find her at Oxford University where she lectures and teaches.

She's in the middle of correcting papers.

There really has never been a better time to

have Dr. Jennifer Cassidy on the show, so I did my level best to get into as much current

stuff as possible, while also delving back into her surprising origin story.
