And when you talk about the big names in UFO research over the decades, maybe the most important is Dr. Jacques Valet. and we have the privilege of having him on the show today, and we're so glad to have him.

We're going to talk about his career and his latest book, Forbidden Science Six, Scattered Castles, his journals of the years between 2010 and 2019.

Now, Dr. Valet has long been regarded as the most respected and senior scientific investigator of an undidentified aerial phenomena.

He was the inspiration for the French UFO researcher and Steven Spielberg's close encounters of the third kind.

He has been investigating

for decades. He has written

over two dozen books.

His name is just

legend in this field, and we're so glad

to have him with us.

So this new book, it's the latest in your series of journals.

And really, when you look back, I was going through the book, and it's really amazing to be able to capture your frame of mind at any given time on these

research matters and the people that you talked with. Why did you feel it was so important

to journal? It seems like a really brilliant thing to do, but was that all as part of your

practice and why did you consider a key in what you were doing?

Well, these books are not designed to be sensational. They are not designed to be bestsellers

or to claim any tremendous single revelation. They have to do with the process of trying to understand and to get closer

to probably the biggest mystery of our time, which is, of course, the UFO phenomenon.
