It started, as these things often do, with a quiet man in a quiet town.

In the 1990s, Dr. Graham Reeves was a respected name in New South Wales, an obstetrician and gynecologist.

A man trusted by his patients.

A man in a crisp white coat with a calm demeanour, but behind the sterile

walls of his practice, beneath the facade of medical professionalism, he was something else entirely.

His victims would later describe him as cold, detached, almost bored, while he felt violated their

bodies in ways too horrific to comprehend. This wasn't malpractice, this wasn't negligence,

this was something deliberate, something sadistic. The women who walked into his clinic

never imagined they'd leave,

permanently mutilated, or that their missing body parts would never be found.

The warnings had been there all along, whispers among nurses, complaints buried in paperwork,

patients too humiliated or terrified to speak up.

There were always stories, the woman who woke up from a routine procedure to find out,

her clitoris had been removed, without consent.

The ones who never got an explanation for why they suddenly couldn't bear children.

But by the time authorities finally acted, the off-ball damage had been done.

Reeves was stripped of his medical license in 1997. The official reason?
