presence in your life. You know, that's one of the reasons this show exists, is to give you

time and space away from the vitriol, away from all the bad news where you can exhale,

and you can remember once again that God is good and his promises are true, and he will always

make a way for you. You know, we all need breaks like that.

We need to turn down the noise and so you can hear the still small voice of God.

And I just really pray as you listen in today that you are impressed by the Spirit of God

that you're loved, that he knows you, that he sees you, he's got a plan for you,

and he's got a place for you to put your feet today and tomorrow

and the next day. One of my favorite guests joins me today, Dr. Kurt Thompson. He's a prolific

author. He speaks so much on shame, on the anatomy of the soul, about what it means to be known.

And we're going to talk about a few different things. We're going to talk about perseverance.

We're going to talk about vulnerability. We're going to talk about being known. And this is for men, too, so don't tune me out.

We're going to talk about creating beauty, your creativity that you bring to the world, especially

when it feels like we're right in the middle of a war zone, how important that is. So I'm going to
