0:27.8	So, Dr. Northrop, would you mind just giving us, for people who are not familiar with you and your work and your books, just a quick overview of who you are and what you do?
0:37.0	Yes. I'm a board certified OBGYN. I was a clinical assistant professor of OBGYN at the
0:43.1	University of Vermont for 25 years, also at Tufts University. I was practicing OBGYN for about 25 years,
0:52.4	and I became president of the American Holistic Medical Association,
0:57.8	along with Bernie Siegel in the 1990s. I have written six books. Three of them have been New York
1:04.1	Times bestsellers. My very first book, Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom, just came out in its
1:08.7	fifth edition. I was on the Oprah Winfrey show 10 times,
1:12.5	also did eight public television specials,
1:16.8	and became very galvanized by this issue
1:20.9	as a result of my testimony in front of the main legislature
1:25.9	in 19, in 2019, it was, to reverse a vaccine mandate,
1:34.8	which we had absolutely no need for in the state of Maine. We had a 95% voluntary vaccination rate.
1:41.1	And then suddenly the drum starts to get beaten about how these dread diseases
1:45.9	are coming back, the entire narrative about the measles outbreak, and Disney World, Disneyland made no
1:52.7	sense to me. And so I'm there up at the State House. My beloved partner has a PhD in epidemiology,
2:02.9	so he, and worked all over the world,
2:04.7	including with the World Health Organization,
2:07.1	he saw absolutely no need for this mandate,
2:10.6	that now a child would need 69 vaccines by the age of 18,
