Hey everybody, it's Chris. And today I'm interviewing Dr. Bruce Lipton. If you don't know,

Dr. Bruce Lipton, I cannot wait for you to meet this incredible man. He is a cell biologist.

He is responsible for some incredible research. And maybe this is an exaggeration, but the father of or one of the fathers

of epigenetics, understanding how environment impacts our cells, how our diet and lifestyle

and environment can turn on and off genes in our body, genes that promote cancer or genes

that help prevent cancer. And so, I mean,

this is, this is the mind-blowing stuff that I think a lot of people just don't understand.

They just think your genes are you're programmed by your genes versus you can actually

influence how your genes affect you. So anyway, Dr. Lipton, thank you for taking the time to do

this. Chris, the name is Bruce, and I'm so happy to be here with you and especially our audience,

because if there's any group that needs empowerment, it's people concerned with cancer,

because the kind of stories they get from the conventional world are so disempowering and making

them victims when it's

completely false. That's the interesting thing about it. So, you know, you mentioned, so I did some work

on epigenetics. Yeah, about 1967, I was cloning stem cells, which are embryonic cells. And one of the things that should be

important is that I was also teaching in the school, the concept called genetic determinism.

That's the belief that most people have walked away with, after all these years, the belief

that genes determine the character of their life. And I go, well, in teaching that,

what am I actually teaching? And the answer is this. As far as you know, you didn't pick the

genes you came with. You don't like the characteristics? Can't change the genes. And then we tell

you the genes turn on and off by themselves. And I say, what are we teaching? And I say,

we're teaching victimization that my genes control me and if it's running into family and I got a
