I'm looking through all the different successes that you've had, but what really intrigues me more is how you got there.

And I want to start with your parents.

I grew up with a single mom who drove me, she had a philosophy that you may be familiar with.

It was called the Dr. Lawyer Failure Philosophy.

It looks to the Ivy Leagues and beyond.

The fetus wasn't fully developed until after graduate school.

But give me a little bit of context.

I know you were born to some Cuban immigrants and everyone thinks that's a tragedy and some respects, but it also is a lot of pressure.

Let's talk about how you were raised by your parents.

So really, I mean, I knew from a very early age that my parents had to sacrifice a lot to come to this country.
