I had kidney disease when I was 13 years old, and it was very serious.

But there was nothing that Western medicine had to offer.

They didn't do kidney transplants back in those days.

So my kidneys were fighting for survival.

Since Western medicine had nothing to offer me, and it had about a 50-50 chance of survival

I was told later by my mother.

My parents decided they would take me to see some alternative doctors, some holistic doctors.

And they did.

And these doctors practiced out on the edge of town in a trailer house in the middle of

a wheat field.

And so it was very different from this very expensive clinic where I'd been diagnosed.

But they started working with me, and almost immediately I could feel the changes starting

to happen in my body.

I knew without question that what they were doing was helping me.

And so within a few weeks I didn't have any more pain at all.

My parents took me back to the clinic, and they ran the test again, and all the tests

were negative.

And so I was pronounced cured.

I decided that's what I wanted to do with my life.
