Well, happy Thursday, everyone. We have a lot to cover in the next hour. We thank you for tuning in our big three stories. Of course, we leave with Ukraine. Russians continue their relentless march toward the capital of Ukraine, which is Kiev. There are reports that it's bogged down. It's not getting there. They've got problems, but it's still there. President Biden says that Russia's targeting citizens,

but Biden says it's too early to say that Putin is committing war crimes.

Really?

Last I saw the Hague is already looking into this and things war crimes have been committed in the Ukraine.

What do they wait?

What really?

That doesn't make any sense.

Also in the big three, the January 6th committee says there's enough evidence to prove that Donald Trump engaged in a criminal conspiracy to remain in office.

Well, duh.

And rounding out the big three, Governor Hockel, as we mentioned in the last segment, is proposing that bars and restaurants permanently be allowed to sell booze to go.

She says the state liquor authority will iron out the details.

Some other things that are percolating.

I thought this was really interesting.

On the eve of the opening ceremony for the Paralympics in Beijing, as you know,

every time there's a real Olympics, they have a Paralympics right afterwards.

Well, opening ceremony is scheduled for tomorrow and Russian and Belarusian

athletes have now been banned. Now that comes one day after it was announced they could compete.

It's a stunning reversal. It's based on other countries complaining, for example, in curling.

Latvia said, we're not going to compete against Russia. So boom, it's out.
