through this holy week. I hopefully you feel this way. I sure do with a deeper understanding of Jesus'

sacrifice, of his love, and of his invitation to walk intimately with him for the rest of our days.

You know, it's just so easy to go through the motions.

It's too easy to fast chocolate during the Lenton season and never think about the purpose behind

the fast.

But when we engage our hearts, we consider our Savior, our feasting and our fasting,

they take on a whole new meaning.

We get to talk to one of my favorite authors today.

Dr. Alicia Britt Scholle joins me to talk about her stunning book,

40 Days of Decrease, a different kind of hunger, a different kind of fast.

Kevin, I go through this book every Lenton season,
