I'm Susie Larson, so honored to have this time with you today.

In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk,

that deep in your understanding of God's Word, that heighten your awareness of his very real presence in your life. That's the desire of my heart. So here's a question for you today to get today's conversation started. What does it look like to be a Christian in today's world? You know, my hubby and I, we have our separate prayer times where we just get in the Word and spend time with God every morning, and then we come together, and we just talk about what the Lord spoke to us about, and we have some time to talk and pray. And we had this conversation this morning. His heart, he just looked so grieved. And I said, what's matter? What's on your heart? He said, I just saw this thread on Facebook between two Christians. One, he knows fairly well, and one he doesn't. And it was an angry rant.

It was bashing of leaders.

And there was the angry ranter bashing.

And then there was a civil kind of humble guy going, wait a second here.

Can we look at both sides and consider this?

And that guy just went on the attack and called him names, told him he was uninformed and blind.

And the gentle one tried and tried

but got nowhere with this ranter and just broke our hearts. And I just thought, you know what,

this is where we are. But Jesus knew we would face such days. And you know what? His sermon on the

mount, I would say rings as true today as it ever has. And that's why I'm so excited to have
