perfect game he's got a no hitter in his career but you got to factor in a few

things you go back to his last start the last start prior to this one Clayton Kershaw had 42 pitches

and he left with left forearm discomfort that was the second inning and Tommy john John's surgery was being discussed. So you have

spring training. He didn't throw a lot of pitches in spring training because it wasn't a full

spring training. You're in Minnesota. What was the weather? What was the temperature yesterday

afternoon in Minnesota? Was it in the 40s? Yeah, it was I got 51 degrees. Okay. So you have that and you have to

factor that in as well. Clayton Kirshaw may be putting on a good face and protecting his manager

had this to say about being pulled after seven perfect innings. Yeah, I mean I knew going in that my

pitch count wasn't going to be a hundred let alone, you know, 90 or whatever.

So it's a hard thing to do to have to come out of a game when you're doing that.

But like I said, we're here to win and that this was the right choice.
