The title of this panel is How Capitalism Kills, Social Murder in COVID-19. My name is Phil Rocco, one of the co-hosts

of Death Panel and your chair and cruise director for this session. Before we get going, just want to make

two quick announcements. The first is about masks. All socialism conference attendees are required to

wear masks, fully covering the nose and mouth

while indoors in conference spaces, including hallways and meeting rooms. Audience members

are still required to mask when asking questions or making comments. This mask policy is in place

to protect all of us, especially immunocompromised from the risk of contracting COVID-19.

Second, the conference community safety plan relies in part on badge checkers at the door of each room.

You're expected to wear conference badges at all times to enter conference meeting rooms.
