homes alongside them Doug Gottlieb. We are taking you throughout the morning around the country, giving you a sense of what's going on. I mean, look you had an incredible F1 race at

0:56.3

at in Miami, which led to many of the drivers wanting the course changed. Okay, sure. You got major league baseball. Nothing really jumped out the

1:08.4

charts, except for angels kind of winning games. That's just for me and a boy J. Stu. Um, and then we'll get to the NBA in a second. Ryan, did you watch the Kentucky Derby?

1:20.5

I did not. I saw some of the amazing outfits, but I did not actually watch the Derby. I saw the fits. I had a little bit of

1:29.1

foam. Oh, fear of missing out, man. I wanted to be there. Have you ever been? No, I have not. It's on my bucket list. Oh, it's great. I went in 2008.

1:37.5

In 2008, I got to go and it was, it was incredible, incredible. I cannot imagine having been their Saturday. So do you have, do you know what how this all went down? No, no, no, no. Okay. So basically, there was a 20 horse field. A one horse pulled out, scratched on Friday. So they added another horse that was that in terms of reputation was not nearly at the level of

2:06.5

everyone else. It was, it was an 80 to one long shot. 80 to one rich strike. And this is one of those. How, I guess the question would be now. Have you seen the replay at all of the race? No, no. Okay. So you know, they say horses for courses and we use horse racing analogy, you know, for other things in life. But basically what happened in the race.

2:34.5

And most people don't believe that the jockey like, well, you're just holding on, you know, whoever has, but there's an absolute art to it for these jockeys to win multiple races, but specifically one race. So

2:51.5

Rich strike had the second highest payout in the history of the race, the $163.60. Okay. Here's the final call.

3:06.5

The final call.

3:36.5

I mean, it was kind of out of nowhere. The horse you smaller than the other horses at the center is the favorite. And so here's basically how the race went. They, when they reached the quarter pole, they were at ridiculous speed.

3:54.5

At early speed, it, it obviously tires out some of the horses that are at the, at the front and the late speed and horses that laid back in the cut had a better shot. And then the, the jockey suddenly leoned.

4:09.5

If you watch in the drone footage, how he just kind of kind of sat back weighted weighted, but how to clean, had a clean trip. And then at just the right moment kind of started to go for it. And it was like kind of Moses part of the red sea.

4:24.5

And he was able to be almost on the rail the entire way and then edge out around one horse and like out of nowhere, out of nowhere, but to have an 80 to one shot that wasn't in the race until Friday that they just threw in and comes out of nowhere.

4:41.5

Nowhere, I mean, it was just it's, it's one of those I understand that there are people that struggle with it as a sport in comparison to the human stick and ball sports, right.
