I have no idea how to introduce this next interview.

It's with a man called Ahmed Al-Nauk.

He has co-edited a collection of essays written by people from Gaza called We Are Not Numbers.

If you've heard of Ahmed before, it might be through Palestine deep dive.

It might be because you've seen him on the news talking about the fact that he lost 21 of his family members

in Israeli air strikes in October 2023.

Our conversation is about politics and it's about the genocide, but fundamentally it's about

how do you as a human being live with the fact that your people are being subject to a genocide?

How do you live? How do you shoulder the burden of grief? How do you deal with trauma when more atrocities are being committed every single day. It's probably one of the

most emotionally affecting conversations I've ever had at all in my career for as long as I've worked

at Navarro Media. And normally I'd say, I hope you enjoy the interview, but that seems entirely the wrong

words, so I'm going to say, please just watch all of it.
