Welcome back, everybody, to the Football Guys Daily Update. You give us 10 minutes. We give you everything you need to know to make you the most informed fantasy football player in your league. I'm Mike Dempsey-Lon with Football Guys own Bob Harris. Let's jump into week 10 here, Bob, as we'll start with the Carolina Panthers hosting New Orleans. Rico Dowdell, who did not practice Wednesday, got in a limited practice, still listed with

0:21.6

a quadriceps injury yesterday. Is he on track to go this weekend? A positive trajectory makes

0:27.9

this look good. And it looks good for us, looks good for the Panthers for the first, third time

0:32.2

in the past five games. He topped 100 rushing yards. He had two rushing touchdowns for the first

0:36.2

time in his career against the tough Packers defense. That gives him four rushing TDs on the season.

0:40.8

Matches his total in four seasons before he's joining the Panthers. He was running back to this past week.

0:45.9

He's running back nine on the season despite working behind or splitting time with Chuba Hubbard for six of those nine games.

0:51.9

That split is over. All right. Let's move on to New England

0:54.9

and Tampa Bay where the trajectory is not as good for a number of players. Kishon Booty still not practicing with his hamstring issue. Remandre Stevenson not practicing. At this point in the week, you got to feel like neither one of these guys is going to be able to suit up. Yeah, that seems like the reasonable assumption. We've had no timetable for Stevenson, by the way, not even a hint.

1:12.5

And Booty is said it would be day to suit up. Yeah, that seems like the reasonable assumption. We've had no timetable for Stevenson, by the way, not even a hint. And Booty is said to be day to day,

2:02.5

but if today's not the day, this won't be the week. And so Trayvion Henderson remains a high-end flex play. Terrell Jennings or what the heck flex. And the Mario Douglas might actually be a desirable play in this game. Yeah, absolutely. For the Bucks, Chris Godwin and Bucky Irving, still not practicing. That has become the norm. Well, you know, when that changes. We've got a game in Germany on Sunday morning, 9.30 Eastern time kickoff. The Colts and the Falcons, Michael Pittman returned to practice yesterday, Bob, and got in a full session on Thursday. So it seems like we should be able to start him with confidence. Yeah, I think that's a safe play. He'll get on the plane and fly over there. We'll see how that goes. I have him as a starter in leagues where I roster him, even with a poor offensive showing against the Steelers last Sunday, Pittman's wide receiver four with an average of 20.9 points again from weeks nine, seven through nine. So yeah, going to play that all day long.

2:08.1

Yeah, some interesting defensive injury news for the Colts. DeForest Buckner will not play this week. Sauce Gardner has been cleared from the concussion protocol. He will play. So a little bit stronger

2:12.7

against the past, maybe not as good up front. Could this be a recipe for a Bajon Robinson bounceback game? Well, I'm pretty sure this is the desired outcome for the Falcons, and maybe it opens the door to that. Atlanta's 3 and 0 when Robinson gets 75 or more yards on the ground. When he doesn't hit that mark, they're 0 and 5. He's rushed for 40, 25, and 45 over the last three games, all losses. Despite the poor showings

2:34.9

on the ground, though, Robinson's running back eight over that three game stretch, thanks to 17

2:38.8

catches for in 125 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown. So it doesn't hurt us, but it would

2:43.9

definitely help the Falcons to get more run. All right, bills and the Dolphins, Joshua Palmer,

2:48.9

another limited practice. James Cook got in the limited session, which is an upgrade from not practicing the day before. Seems like this is moving in a good direction. Yeah, definitely. And after he ran for 100 plus yards against the Kansas City defense that had got 27 straight games, including the playoffs, without allowing 100-yard rusher, I'm eager to see what he has for the Dolphins. You know, even after shutting down Bejohn Robinson two weeks ago, they still give up the six most fantasy points to opposing running backs. I think Cook could have a big day. All right. And for the Dolphins, full practice for Jail and Waddle, Bob, where will you rank him among wide receivers? His football guy's projection is wide receiver nine. I have him ranked slightly ahead of that at wide receiver seven. The feeling is Miami will be trying to play keep up with Buffalo's offense and that could work in his favor. And Ollie Gordon remains limited. Like, he just hasn't been getting much run here. And I get it if you have Devon A. Chan and you're hanging on to him as a straight handcuff. But outside of that, is there any reason to roster Gordon right now?

3:41.1

No, I mean, the handcuff is ideal. But also, we don't all have ideal situations. I can tell you I was forced to start Gordon last week. I'm not in the same boat this week. But he was running back 18 two weeks ago. Granted, he hasn't had money double-digit weeks. In fact, he's had one. it was that week eight game.

3:56.4

But if you need a warm body, he can fill that need to.

3:58.7

But you're right.

3:59.8

Best serves as a insurance partner. digit weeks. In fact, he's had one. It was that week eight game. But if you need a warm body,

3:57.7

he can fill that need to. But you're right. Best serves as a insurance policy.
