NASDAQ knows 4.7%. The coronavirus is the ultimate exogenous event.

It's a public health crisis that's wreaking havoc all over the country.

And it hasn't even infected that many people yet.

But we know it will because it's spreading exponentially.

First, many people thought it could not be here.

Then they thought we could keep it out by blocking travel from China.

Then I thought it could be contained. Then as it kept spreading, we were told it was no big deal.

There were so few cases, so few deaths. Why all the thoughts?

A lot of authority figures, including the President of the United States, seemed incredulous.
