We start with breaking news in the money lead one of the worst days of the year for investors.

Stocks taking a remarkable tumble, the Dow closing down more than 1,200 points on the

heels of today's inflation report.

You hear the bell there, the closing bell, fears of a recession in the air.

Let's get right to seeing a business correspondent, Rahal Solomon in New York, Rahal.

How bad and how serious is this damage?

Pretty serious and it was bad and only got worse throughout the day as losses accelerated.

To put this in perspective, Jake, this was the worst day for the Dow, since June of 2020.

So this was a historically bad day.

As investors die just at this morning's inflation report, I want to take you to the Dow closing

lower by about 4% of the S&P 4.3% in the Nasak, about 5.2% let's call it.
