All right everybody it is Sunday night it's been over a week since I did my last

podcast I was traveling for almost the entire week, was in Florida.

So it was a bit busy and so I didn't really have an opportunity to do a podcast, although there was a lot that went on during the

week when I was away and so I'm going to address all that in this evening's

podcast now the month of March came to an end on Tuesday of

last week or April rather came to an end on Tuesday and it ended on a very sour note for the

US stock market.

I mean the Dow was down better than 500 points on that Tuesday. This was the day before the Fed was going to come out with its decision on interest rates and it was a bad month for US stocks. All the indexes were down. It was the worst month of the year. In fact, the Dow lost about 5%, almost 2,000 points on the month.

That was the biggest monthly drop in the Dow Jones

since September of 2022. Other risk assets, Bitcoin was clobbered in April. In fact, I think it ended

April down about 23% from its peak.

And Bitcoin had got up almost to 74,000

and then it sold off to close to 56,000, below 57,000.

So the markets were really selling off.
