I really don't know where to begin.

It's almost like, let me start here.

Most of us don't think about things like what was the world's first alphabet

and how is an alphabet different from written language,

hyroglyphics, Egyptian hyroglyphics.

That's not an alphabet, the way the Chinese write with characters.

That's not an alphabet.

When was the first alphabet invented with letters and sounds?

And it opens up a whole fascinating world.

And recently it came to my attention again because I realized that there's a man,

Dr. Douglas Petrovich in Texas who teaches biblical studies in ancient near

Eastern history and archaeology at the Bible seminary in Katie, Texas.

And he's written a couple of books that purport to have proven to discovered,

to have discovered that the first alphabet in the history of the world

is Hebrew.
