if you're a regular listener to this program, I fail terribly. But sometimes the gods smile upon us.

He's an editor at The Spectator. He sounds like he's from England,

It's great to be with you, Eric. I understand that you're in fact not in Mary Old England as we speak.

No, I'm in your country. I'm in the USA. I'm touring around all month until after

the election. I've been in a number of states so far. As we speak, I'm in sunny Portland, Oregon,

and moving on tomorrow to another state. Wow. Well, have a cup of coffee and perhaps some hemlock while you're there, because it's

very depressing as I understand.

You know, technically Portland is no longer part of America, just so you understand.

Your passport means nothing there.

And if flames begin to lick at the foundations of your domicile, just get out and we'll do the interview at another time.
