Hello, they're on script super fans. Our guest today is Dr. Douglas Grotice, professor of philosophy

at Denver Seminary. Doug is not only my colleague, but he's also my former teacher. And I think you can probably

blame him for any of my dilettante dabblings in philosophy because his classes were fabulous

and really interesting. Doug's newest book, Walking Through Twilight, is a memoir about his journey

alongside his wife as she was diagnosed

and then finally succumbed to a form of dementia called primary progressive aphasia.

This book is a little different from our usual on script fair. It's raw and painful to read at times,

but it's also profound. I wept many times while reading this book, and it might be the most important and relevant
