Welcome back to another edition of the Ballas and Skeen Show here at the Wolverine.com. This is a special edition. This is a guy we've been trying to get on for quite some time. He's a little bit busy. John Jansen, number 77, former All-American. Doug Skeen, of course, was all Big Ten, five-time Big Ten champion. How many Big Ten titles did you win, John, at Michigan? Two, but one national title. One national title. And I'll say this, if there had been a

playoff back then, those guys might have had their opportunity. Those guys at 9-0-3 season,

that special 9-0 and 3 season, I know how much you love ties there.

So I have two questions.

Well, really one question and one statement as we begin this little episode here.

You said you've been trying to get me on for a long time.

I heard about you about an hour and a half ago.

I got an email says, hey, we had a cancellation.

You want to jump on? I said, sure, I don't mind

be in anybody's last minute add on. And the other statement, I guess it is more of a question,

though, why in the hell Skeens is it the Ballas and Skeen Show versus the Skeens and Ballas

show with Chris Ballas? Yeah, the feedback from a lot of the folks that watch are absolutely, have absolutely said that many, many times. But I don't know if it's just alphabetical, I guess, I don't know. I just, you know, I don't really have too much of an ego to worry about it, but somebody else might in this trio here. And that's not you, Janssen. Well, there's two things. You know what? He still doesn't know how to use a microphone, which is why he's a little muffled. And then people add an S to his name. Skeens. Paul Skeens is the pitcher. It's Doug Skeen. He has not earned that S yet. Yeah, I haven't, apparently not. Yeah. It was singular. So the young, young baseball pitcher, how sudden is people are, hey, you, you are you related? No, no, he actually spells his name differently than I do. So. Yeah. And he's not a legend in Texas like our Doug Skeen. Did they name the stadium after you down there yet? No, they didn't name a stadium after me, no.

Well, I don't know.

There's a couple of outhouses here, and I have earned the right to be named.

They all are named after me, the John.

And so wherever you go, you are sitting on my seat.

I'll tell you this, both of you guys, to be serious here, man, it was a pleasure watching a place.

I can't believe I'm sitting here.

You guys are probably wondering the same thing.
