We get all that and more. And I want to talk to you about the Mayfair

Hotel, which is one of these hotels that the city of L.A. has been using as part of Project

Room Key. And what a catastrophe, a financial catastrophe, and basically representative of what

a catastrophe, the homeless plague continues to be, no matter what program

you come up with, the fact that government is being asked to unravel broken lives at such a

micro level. It just seems like an impossible task at this point, but we'll get into that

story in just a bit.

Obviously, the big story is the tropical storm that we have not seen the likes of which in almost 90 years here in Southern California.

For the most part, we got very, very lucky.

We had heavy rain, some wind in a lot of places, some isolated flooding and damage here and there.

There are a couple of areas that were badly hit, particularly Palm Springs in the San Bernardino Mountains area.

Hey, good to be here and looking outside and looking at blue skies which is quite a change from from yesterday it is and now we're going to have heat

with humidity and we're going to be we're going to be houston which is not what we signed up for

right that's that's that's the pack that we make in southern california that it can be
