Okay, a few years ago, I read your book Bonhoeffer, Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, spy, and rather enjoyed it. That sounds kind of like an insult. I rather enjoyed it. It's like saying, well, not that much, but I guess a little bit. Since I'm talking to the author, I'll say that I rather enjoyed it. admittedlyly, it was my first real taste of D.J. Bonhofer and was the catalyst for my fascination with the man in his historical context. The book was captivating despite its length and beckoned me to read on as I became more and more interested in the character of Bonhofer and Franz Hildebrand, who happens to be my favorite. Okay, so he was Bonhofer's best friend early on in Bonhofer's life, and he's funny and interesting.

I deeply commend you for your dedication to writing such an informative thought-provoking account of a man many look up to.
