get into our study on Sunday mornings. Oh, by the way, for those of you visiting, I just kind of want to give you sort of the order here.

We start off in Ephesians where we're going through chapter by chapter, verse by verse. You see the text there on the screen.

Chapter 5 verses 5 through 7 will be our text today. You can turn there at this time.

After the teaching in Ephesians, which is about 30 minutes or so, then we have our weekly

Bible prophecy update, which today we're actually going to talk about the increase in volcanic

activity, specifically that of the Kilauea volcano on the neighboring Big Island.

So that's another probably 30 minutes or so.

And then afterwards, if you want to stick around a fellowship, we have some food there in the kitchen, coffee beverages. We'd love to

have you stay, especially if you're visiting with us. We'd love to meet you and talk story with you.

So, Ephesians chapter 5, beginning in verse 5, if I could trouble you to stand. If you're able,

if not, that's all right. You can follow along as I read. The Apostle Paul is writing to the church in

Ephesus and says, by the Spirit, verse 5, for of this, you can be sure. No immoral, impure, or greedy person, such a person is an idolater, has any inheritance in the

kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of such things, God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.

Therefore, verse 7, do not be partners with them. Let's pray if you would join with me.

We'll ask God's blessing on our understanding.

Loving Heavenly Father, would you at this time quiet our hearts and settle our hearts

so that we can give you our undivided attention. Lord, we don't want to miss anything

that you have for us today and we're longing even hungry and thirsty to hear you speak into our lives in and through your word.

So, Lord, will you?

Speak, Lord, your servants are listening.

We ask you for this in Jesus' name.
