Republic. Hi, Noreen. Hello. So our three topics for today are the Defense of Marriage Act

1:04.8

has been struck down by the Supreme Court. And what do we do about the fact that many gay couples

are probably not monogamous? How do we incorporate that into our idea of marriage? And by the way, this happened just, you know, hours, hour, barely an hour before we started recording this podcast. 2:14.4

She actually thinks that it puts her back into this world and contributes to a better world. So I just wanted to put that out there. Next time we will defend our lifestyle choices a little more forcefully. Okay. Let's go back for the Defense of Marriage Act. This is an incredibly exciting moment in American history. The Defense of Marriage Act was struck down. This makes it very likely that gay marriage will be decided state by state and become increasingly accepted. For the moment, gay couples have presented themselves as being very much like straight couples. The Supreme Court couple is an old-time lesbian couple. They've been together forever. They're loyal. They're monogamous. And they're mostly talking about sharing assets. But the truth is that studies show that many gay couples are not monogamous. Some studies

show that most are not monogamous. Some studies show that 50% are not monogamous. And not in the cheating
