Well, Jack is having a sex change operation. That's why he's able to join. Not true. Not true. I can pass

already. As you can tell by the manly voice, it's not true.

Anyway, okay, so we are going to talk about three things today.

We're going to talk about the balloon boy hoax involving bikini family, which has just become ever more fascinating and crazy.

Second, we're going to talk about the unfortunate Twitter photo

Megan McCain posted of herself, and then really that's just our excuse to talk more

generally about women who are prominent in the Republican Party right now. And then our third

topic will be the new movie Where the Wild Things Are. So let's start with Richard and Miami Hini and their poor child, Falcon, who we thought

we were watching race across the sky and this terrifying hot air balloon last week.

But in fact, turned out was, we don't even really know where he was.

He was hiding somewhere as the Hini's perpetrated this kind of amazing hoax on the Sheriff's Department in Colorado where they live and really on the whole country.

You know, in the kind of Heaney aftermath, one question I think is really worth asking is whether in some way, in some amorphous way, we're all responsible for this craziness because so many

of us are obsessed with reality TV and getting our every word out there on Facebook or on

Twitter, just this notion that people's pursuit of this weird kind of 15 minutes of fame is

kind of taking over the hive mind.

The first thing I thought was why didn't anybody make a hoop dreams about reality TV?

Like why didn't anybody make the documentary where they went around the country and found all the Hines of America and the sort of crazy things that they do to get their own reality program?
