Of all the crimes man can visit upon one another, the act of rape is the most feared and depraved.

Although most perpetrators of rape are men and most victims are women and children,

no one is exempt from becoming either a predator or the prey.

Simply put, rape is the forceful sexual penetration of another person,

whether it be anal, oral or vaginal without the consent of the recipient.

As humans and unlike any other animals, we were born with the knowledge of right and wrong.

Within each of us there is a moral compass, which is sharpened by learning from a very young age,

what is right and what is wrong.

We are only human and due to our flawed nature,

the urge to break the law in order to fulfill a primal desire is often much stronger

than the pull of the needle pointing in the right direction.
