I worry that if we suggest or require that people wear N95s, they won't wear them all the time.

They're very hard to breathe in when you wear them properly.

They're very hard to tolerate when you wear them for long periods of time.

Early on, the difficulty with that was that there weren't enough N95 masks around.

Everyone's talking about whether or not they should wear two masks now.

Over the past year, we've heard all kinds of mixed guidance on masks.

Initially, we were told not to wear one necessarily, but then we were told to wear one,

and if you're going to wear one wear this kind, or wear that kind, maybe wear more than one.

Look, the bottom line is this.

Masks are crucial.

We know that now.

But not all masks are created equal.

The N95 respirator mask has been the gold standard from the beginning.

It protects from 95% of particles, hence its name.

Our need for that level of protection is only becoming clearer.

So today, I'm going to update you on what we know about masks and how you can make the

most of the masks you already have.
