Well, this is an interesting week because I think this is kind of the quiet before the storm.

We're about to have the debates, the conventions, Trump's sentencing, things are about to get hot and I think it's a good time to step back and say well where does this race stand?

And Political had an interesting article where they basically asked the question, well, how are voters viewing Trump's conviction?

And they found that among the voters that they polled, 21% of independence said the conviction made them less likely to support Trump

and it would be an important factor in their vote.

So that cuts in one direction,

yet they found that a sizable percentage of folks either agreed strongly or somewhat

agreed that the rationale for the case was political.
