Dorothy Hunt serves as spiritual director of Moon Mountain Sanga and is the founder of the San Francisco

Center for Meditation and Psychotherapy.

Inspired by the legendary sage Ramana Maharshi and also the contemporary teacher Adjia Shanti. Dorothy is the author of only this and

leaves from Moon Mountain. Which sounds true she's written a new book called

Ending the Search from Spiritual Ambition to the Heart of Awareness,

where she shares insights from her personal journey along along with original poetry, teaching stories, and self-inquiry practices

to help us, quote, find the true identity of this precious and all-consuming eye.

In this episode of Insights at the Edge, Dorothy and I spoke about spiritual awakening and how an authentic awakening always involves a radical

shift of identity.

We talked about the practice of self-inquiry, and Dorothy led us in a guided session where we dropped

into the heart of awareness to reflect on what or who is the seeker.

Dorothy also read us a section of her poem, The Invitation,
