We've got a big game coming up tomorrow or today. If you're listening to the podcast version of this show, coming out in the morning Lakers, going to finish off 2024 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

What I want to do tonight is talk a little bit about that matchup, talk about the debut of Dore Infini Smith and Shake Milton, everything else going on in the world of the Lakers, the injury front, all of that kind of stuff too. Oh, yeah, oh yeah, that thing, you know, the trade market. We'll talk a little bit about that to, I will apologize. I said earlier tonight or this afternoon, I suppose, when I did lunchtime with the Lakers,

that if I recorded the podcast, I was considering doing a live version of it and just going

live for the pod.

Normally, I just record it and post it, but I decided I would go live.

I said it would be later on in the evening, but I had some time here, it opened up unexpectedly, and I thought, you know what,

let's do this. Let's go. Let's go do a live show right now. I've got so much stuff I want to

talk about regarding the Lakers. It's a fun time. Jason said this trade brought Trevor his

joy back. He hasn't been live this many times in a day in years. It was probably last time we did this was over the summer when we had all the Dan Hurley stuff going on where we had like multiple live shows in a day. Look, when there's more stuff going on, obviously it's fun because there's a lot of stuff to talk about. But yeah, I mean, it's the way it goes. It's the way it goes, right? We get exciting and fun stuff going on. We're all ready to talk more Lakers basketball. So big game tomorrow night. By the way, the calves are playing in about 30 minutes. They're playing against the Golden State Warriors. So the calves will be on the second night of a back-to-back, but that's going to be a tough matchup for the Lakers. Regardless, they're a very, very good team, very talented team. And so we'll talk a little bit about that matchup. But first, a quick look at the injury report here. So as of right now, Anthony Davis, LeBron James listed as questionable. Same thing with Gabe Vincent. I would

assume both A.D. and LeBron play unless LeBron, happy birthday, by the way, birthday boy turned 40. Unless

LeBron James has one crazy birthday party, I would imagine LeBron will play against the Cavs, especially since he was at practice

today. And then Anthony Davis,

again, I would assume that he does play, but

officially listed as questionable. Gabe

Vincent is listed as questionable.

J.J. Reddick classified him as

day to day. So,

I think of those three,

the least likely to play is Gabe Vincent. I would say of those three, the least likely to play is Gabe Vincent.

I would say of those three, Gabe is the least likely to play.

But that could create some opportunities for Shake Milton to get in there out of necessity.
